Files / Viewer
The Files tab provides a file browser for accessing your data directories on the
facility filesystem.
Browsing Files
- Navigate directories using the file listing or the breadcrumb trail at the top.
- Sort files by name (A-Z / Z-A) or modification date.
- The browser remembers your last visited directory between sessions.
- Your default starting path is
/data/{username}.
Viewing Files
Different file types open in different ways:
| Diffraction images (CBF, etc.) | Opens in the Image Viewer with zoom, pan, and grayscale adjustment |
| Regular images (JPG, PNG, GIF, SVG) | Preview in a popup |
| Text files (TXT, LOG, CSV, JSON, XML, PY, CIF, etc.) | Read-only text preview in a popup |
| HTML files (processing reports, etc.) | Opens in a new browser tab |
| Other files | Displays file metadata (size, date, type) |
Image Viewer
When viewing diffraction images, the Image Viewer provides:
- Interactive zoom and pan.
- Grayscale and contrast adjustment.
- Crystallographic metadata display (wavelength, detector distance, pixel size, detector type).
