[About Me]

This page was made
using Netscape
Composer.  I was
determined to learn
something
semi-substantial
about webpage
design, though,
so here is an
html practice page.

[Aerial View of SLAC]

From June 20 to August 14, 1999, I was an intern at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center, or SLAC, in Palo Alto, CA. During the course of the nine-week program funded by the U.S. Department of Energy, my partner Silpa and I worked on protein crystallography and webpage design at the Stanford Synchrotron. The Energy Research Undergraduate Laboratory Fellowship (ERULF) Program at SLAC is a fantastic way to learn about the rigors of scientific research in one of the most beautiful areas of the United States. For more information about my particular experience, see the links on the left. For general information about the program, check out the ERULF website.
